Director of Admissions & Senior Mental Health Clinician
As Director of Admissions, Rachael has the unique opportunity to be the first person to meet potential residents and their families. Because Hopewell candidates come from across the country, Rachael is often jumping in a car or boarding a plane to talk with people face-to-face. In addition to her admissions responsibilities, Rachael directs the education program and counsels residents in her care. She finds Hopewell a rewarding place to work because we have the freedom to try new and innovative approaches to healing. Rachael has more than 20 years experience in the mental health field. Before joining the Hopewell family in 2007, Rachael taught children with mental and physical challenges in the public school system. She has worked in mental health crisis units in Youngstown and Warren, Ohio and had a private practice for 10 years.
