For the past month we have been preparing for maple sugaring and collecting sap from the trees. It was hard and sloppy terrain in the woods due to the weather transitioning from snowing to warming up and creating a lot of mud. We had our boots on. You can see from the look of them that we've been out in the mud. At times it was hard to keep up with the horse team, but our favorite part was going out in the woods. We had fun and enjoyed the experience.
